I have no idea what changed but since today, I can not view any pictures anymore. Some I can't even see as thumbnails but all are broken when I try to view them.

Two usual reasons: DNS issues/trouble requesting them and so on, browser settings

Have you changed anything? Does it work on other devices/browsers? Try isolating if it's the machine, the ISP, or even just the browser.

I'm also experiencing this, will check again later.

Seems to be ISP related in my case. Issue appears on desktop and mobile (when using Wi-Fi). Images load fine when connected through LTE. As soon as I switch back to Wi-Fi, images fail to load again.

And now it works again and I still don't know why. Oh well.

Working again for me as well.

Issue has resolved on its own for me. Probably just a glitch in the matrix
