I got an Error the limit of 80,000 favs some days ago. I tried deletimg some favs i got, but, is there anything that could extend or modify the limits?

You could organize some of them into sets (not pools since that's not what they're used for).

Nope, welcome to the 80k club! (I beat 80k before the limit was implemented, which is how I have more favorites.). However, there are some workarounds: upvotes don't have a limit, and you can search your upvoted posts with votedup:me (Note: me is arbitrary. You can type literally anything there with no effect on the results). You can also use sets to organize posts https://e621.net/post_sets. You can have up to 10k posts per set and can have multiple sets.

Do favorites even have an order? I'm not sure there's a way to order posts at all, unless favorites are different for users that haven't broken the limit (i.e. almost everyone other than me)? Nevermind, I'm dumb. Of course favorites are ordered, including mine. Edit2: I... think? Actually I'm now thoroughly confused about how favorites and order works. All I know is I can't favorite things, but sometimes things get bumped up to the top of my favorite list

Yes and no. No, because going straight to the Posts page just shows them in the order they were posted, unfortunately. Yes, because you can click Edit Posts to reorder them via their post numbers (that number up there in the url or that ID# on the left hand side of the post's page, under Information). The problem with that is that it doesn't affect the Posts page's ordering, but it does let you click through the set's posts in the order you specified.

The posts on the favorites page are listed in the same order in which you favorited them.
Posts get bumped to the top of the list primarily when a superior version gets uploaded.

Right... I got confused by misunderstanding the "*Searching favorites does not preserve the order they were added in." message if you click your favorites.

This is going to be more and more of a problem as the site gets older and continues to grow. We're at over 3 million posts and there are users (like me) who have been members for over 10 years and users (like me) who have a wide range of tastes and are going to be reaching this limit even when trying not to. Two and a half years ago when the limit was instated I converted all of my favorites to upvotes and started over, and I'm already back up to almost 30k in that time. That's an average 30 favs a day which I consider totally reasonable, but even at that pace I will likely run out again in a couple of years.

I really hope they're working on a way to make favorites unlimited because it's a feature that's important to me, and taking a feature away from the people who use it the most makes the least amount of sense.
