I used to be a furry. I still look at the art out of hyper fixation. I prefer animal/monster/etc. to humans.

The usual way I find art - it popped up as a recommended image and/or(don't remember which) I saw someone with a cool avatar and they happened to draw/favourite it.

There was never a big "aha!" moment for me. It was just thinking it was neat and moving on. Though it took a while before I signed up for a specialized website.

I am almost strictly into furry porn because I had a crush on Maid Marian as a kid, as well as other anthropomorphic characters in movies. When I started to explore the internet in the early 2000s, I found that some websites I frequented to play flash games and the like on had secret adult sections, where I was exposed to my first "furry porn".
I wasn't seeking out furry porn related material, only stumbling upon it when Rule 34 still had "disney" as a tag. I just randomly googled good furry sites, just to see what'd come up and that's how I found this site. I made my account shortly later and the rest is history lol
