The most common usage should always be the main tag. That way those only need monthly cleanup, instead of daily.

So Mordecai and Rigby tags should be for the Regular Show characters, and the rest should be disambiguated elsewhere.

Edit: Looks like those just got emptied.

I'm not a fan of this trend of leaving the main character tags empty. Why switch from a system that needs only occasional cleanup, to one that requires constant maintenance? There's enough things to tag already, without adding unnecessary work. Not to mention that it makes the users jump through extra hoops. 99.5% of users who search for fe. Mordecai Rigby are looking for the Regular Show characters, and are now left confused when there's no results.

This is a giant step backwards for both tagging and searchability.
