I'll start: (bit of a read and not the best story teller lol) so it was about 2009-10 when I (m 13) stumbled upon e6. How I found it was Google image searching, on dial-up, "Pokémon sex" and images from e6 and r34.paheal popped up. Initially used r34 because the images were generally slightly lower quality (since I was stuck with dial-up) and I would save the images to my psp for repeated viewing. But I didn't like the pop-ups because "what if mom saw from the top of the stairs!" I was raised in the conservative household, being caught would probably be a death sentence... Then i remembered the "blue website" which had a better layout, and I learned the tags system pretty quickly. And it was rare to see NO POP UPS and the thumbnail picks were way too small to see until they got close enough to the monitor. And I needed all the help I could get since I could only download 15.7kbps for <1mb images.
Fast forward a couple years and in late 2012 and I come home from church camp (yes really lol) and my parents invested in "high" speed internet. It was a rock solid 1.5 mbps on my ps3 and I was stoked! Now I can play Cod BO2 with the boys and get the hi-rez versions of images, animations, and flash. After that it was honestly a miracle I didn't get caught with furry shit though high-school. Also the time I finally decided to make my first account named Bear123n. So now I could start posting cringe comments a 16 y/o came up with. The psp I used came with me every day because I used it for music on the bus. I had a hard time making excuses to get it back when a friend would close the game and went snooping around where they shouldn't be! Never found though, at least to my knowledge.
Not the same story for home though. 2013 was the biggest fuckup year I had. [Little info for context on how it could've been so much worse!: My personal favorite tags were (and still are) Pokémon, feral, sheath, and the worst and most voodoo.... young!] Now that mom turned into a 'Facebook mom' she was learning how to check Google history on the browser. She didn't trust dad about him not looking up porn. But instead found me looking up "canine penis" on a furry website and called me into the room. Luckily, that convo only lasted about 2min and mom saying "it looks perverted!" And I replied "Well at least it's not real people." Not a good response, but she didn't bring it up at dinner so I made it into the clear with that one. Definitely never forgot to use incognito after that. My slightly younger sister caught me another time but that wasn't as scary. She just said stop using her old iPhone because it was still updating icloud safari history smh.
Next time skip to 2015-16, I was basically able to convince my household I didn't look at the stuff anymore and it's forgotten about, and I graduated (woo!). Also when I got my first smartphone, Samsung J2 Pure, and now I thought I was completely safe! Nobody in my household was nosey and we all had our own phones. But when I helped out my best friend (still is) by having him live us, he found out. But he kept it hush hush even from me. I didn't find out until like early 2020. I more or less "graduated" to this site after looking at enough scantily clad furries pics elsewhere that I eventually decided I wanted to see actual wiener. Once upon a time, long long ago (2008?)... my memory here is quite fuzzy here, but I either came across a YouTube video of a grizzly bear where you could blatantly see his penis, or maybe it was actually a grizzly bear fursuit with a strap-on dildo? Searching "yiff" also introduced me to sites like 4chan, which was probably not a good thing, and I also learned that searching "yiff" on YouTube back in the day would lead to red and blue blinking videos maliciously trying to give the viewer a seizure. 2008 internet sure was fun! Fast forward to (umm... *checks my profile page*) 2012, and I, at some point, discovered e621, and was learning Japanese perhaps in part to understand Japanese furry porn, so I created an account here so I could hopefully help translate some stuff here. I donvt remember exactly HOW i started it all, but As a pubescent 14 y/o in 2013, i discovered an actual site for the type of porn/hentai i was looking for from google images (yes, i think i wasn't the only kid to use google for this) called the now abandoned Veebooru. A cub focused site, but i think what completely drew me in were the shota doujins that Had translations. ESPECIALLY... As my avatar shows, doneru. When it died, i was already knee deep in furry/kemo knowledge, which included other sites, including e6. My tastes also kinda grew since then too, i became more and more pansexual basically. But i was just viewing e6 without an account, obviously, until the global blacklist. I think finally bitting it and making this account finally got me really into this community. I'm now doneru's sole uploader on this site, and a translator for abunch of stuff. Odd journey personally, but not too eventful either.

I was 14 at the time. My descent into madness started when I looked up anatomy on Wikipedia. Then I turned to deviantArt, made an account (lying about my age at the time), and that happened to be on the front page.

Well before that, though, I was repeatedly called a furry as an insult, and I had no idea what that was, nor did I care to find out at the time.

Google plus was a hellish and obscure SNS by Google and I joined it while it was at its popularity peak (2015).
After being there a few months I befriended a small group of furries, with one in particular is *very* interested in me.
Several unsolicited gay yiffs in DM later I discovered that I have sexual attraction to male furries (didn't tell em of course).
And in one of those DMs I noticed the link leads to this site.
It all went downhill from there.

I was browsing Amazon when I discovered a book containing art by Terrie Smith. Curious, I looked up "anthropomorphic" and found VCL and Miavir. Since then I've scoured the internet for furry content and have been a part of just about every furry community and board out there since 2001.

I was looking up safe pictures of Pokèmon on Google. I was somewhere in my early teens. That lead me to deviantArt. I didn't know what a furry was yet nor had even heard of it. Eventually I stumbled on some images of Pokèmon that depicted ones that normally are feral as anthro. Kind of interested me so I searched that on Google. I happened upon some nsfw images on Pokèmon and was intrigued. That lead me to rule34.pa.heal. That website sucks so bad. I started using that for awhile just looking before actually doing you-know-what to it. Then the site went down for awhile so I abandoned it when I found rule34.net now rule34.xxx. I stuck with Pokèmon for a bit before seeing an image with an anthro animal. I was really intrigued. It broadened my mind and I was introduced to the concept of a furry. I used that for the longest time co-existing it with the now defunct yaoihaven which I replaced with E-Hentai Galleries. Dispite all that something compelled me to stay away from furaffinity and inkbunny. I don't know why. One of the sources lead me here but I refrained from making an account not wanting to be easily associated with porn especially furry porn. Eventually I was forced to make one cause an update hid some images from non members. Eventually I made an inkbunny account and a furaffinity account and the only reason I did was so I wasn't blocked from certain images. It's such an important part of my life.

For me, it all started with Pokémon. As a middle schooler I managed to stumble upon rule34.paheal.net, and specifically across this picture (is it weird that I remember the very first NSFW furry art I've ever seen? idk lmao):

Eventually this led to me discovering wildcritters.us ("WC"), which was in the midst of the whole infighting thing and eventually splitting off to become wildcritters.ws and Veebooru. I also learned about e621 as an "alternative" booru site, but didn't really think much of it at the time. I stuck around wildcritters.ws and got into the doujin/kemono scene, specifically Pokémon doujins, and I'd be lying if I said part of my motivation to learn Japanese wasn't so I could translate some doujins for myself lol

After years of lurking all throughout high school, I decided I wanted to contribute to the WC community and upload some doujins that hadn't been on the site already. But you see, I didn't want to use the username I had on other sites that could be traced back to me...so let's Google what "throwaway account" is in Japanese! It has to be something cool!

And so, under the alias "Tsukaisute," I began to post some Pokémon doujins I found hoping a kind soul would be able to translate them. And in the meantime, I was college-bound and resolved to actually learn some Japanese during my time there (which I did) so I could start translating stuff.

Shortly after starting college and Japanese classes I also came across a web comic/manga titled 助け屋シベ太 ("Helper Shibeta") that had been untranslated beyond Ch 1 for quite some time on WC. I fell in love with the artstyle and plot, and, using my very basic Japanese from class, started (poorly) translating with massive help from Google translate and a Japanese parser program I forget the name of; it was supposed to help recognize grammar points and vocabulary words just like the Yomichan extension does. The results were terrible, but after some (heavy) editing and guidance from another notable translator on WC (SuperRamen, if anyone's wondering) I was able to learn a lot, and continued translating the comic up until WC momentarily shut down.

Some time after, I saw someone had reposted the comic on e6, so I hopped over to e6 and just never looked back. And, well, here I am still lol

The earliest memory I have of any furry fandom stuff was the episode of 1000 Ways to Die where a guy trips balls out in the dessert and wonders into a mursuit orgy before getting killed by a coyote or something. It's weird because I actually also remember already having an idea of what "furry" was at the time, but I can't remember what I had seen of the fandom before this. Either way, I was probably around 13 (2009-10) at the time and I'm pretty sure my first impression of furries was that they were people who liked to fuck each other in animal costumes... and I thought that was pretty hot! However, this was at a time when I was starting to explore all kinds of porn through google images on my sister's dad's laptop during the hours I'd have to myself at home after walking from school, and furry stuff as I understood it was only of minor interest tome.

This changed however when I discovered the illustrative side of the fandom! Somehow during one of my usual searches, the results included what I remember to look like a half finished drawing (still in the lining phase) of a mmf threeway between some anthro felines. Seeing it gave me a unique feeling that no porn at that time had given me before. I looked for more furry stuff to pursue this feeling. It was more than just arousal. The irl porn I was mostly looking at before always made me feel isolated, like I was glimpsing into a strange and off putting 'adults only' world that I wasn't meant to see. Even hentai, which I also looked at sometimes, still had this gritty "adultness" I'd never seen in cartoons before, that didn't make it much more inviting than the irl stuff, especially since it tended to have more frequent and overt noncon themes, which I just wasn't ready for. I think furry porn hit different to me because it provided a bridge between my desire to see sex and my need for familiarity in it's presentation.

Around 14 or 15, I finally got my own ipod and worked up the nerve to try actually visiting some of the websites google was linking to. The most impactful results of this where my discoveries of newgrounds, theyiffgallery, tumblr, wildcritters, and e6. I'm not completely sure what the first thing I saw on here was, but I will say that I read Family Secret by lonewolf666 around this time, that I associate it a with a memory of the spring establishment setting for some reason, and don't know where else I could have read it. Actually, I don't have much memory of what I did on this site at all through out high school, but I do have dozens of screeshots of funny comments from this site that I took on my ipod and I do remember showing my friend one of them back in sophomore or junior year so I must have been lurking here fairly often. I was content to be a lurker until the global blacklist was added. I don't like opening accounts on the internet, but this was (and honestly still is) the best place that I knew/know where I could find cub porn, so I decided to get an account in 2020. Since then I've gotten a little more interested in the community, being able to actually interact with it now, which is why you'll find me here in the forums sometimes. I like to add tags that I think are missing when I'm not too "busy", especially if it's an underused tag, but I don't consider myself a very dedicated contributor to the site. I'd like to remove more tags from posts that I don't think are necessary on them, but that's been a more touchy practice in my experience.

Sounds like the artist was Style Wager. His Hooda girls are foxes with bare breasts.

I started by looking up images of Krystal from Star Fox on DeviantArt. From there, I found fchan, then yiffSTAR which turned into SoFurry, and finally to e621 which is my home now. e621 hasn't let me down yet and I hope it keeps on being the best. Long live e621.

You know, I really thought I'd remember how I got introduced to begin with, but it's kind of blurry as to where I first got the idea to find this stuff. I didn't really have reliable internet access before around 2015 or so, and I had no idea sites like this were a thing. I probably got the idea to find it from people on Discord in 2016 or 2017, and I found a bot that pulled images from different sites, including this one. I ended up just going to the actual site and it became my only porn source before long. I ended up making an account after it was no longer possible to view all images without one. I've never found any other website to be up to par with what's available here. I don't think anybody I know outside furry stuff knows besides one incident in a Discord server I had to play off as a joke.

It was a transitory period in my life. I'd moved half a country away. A lot of my interests were shifting, especially after MLP came out and I finally watched Digimon (Tamers), tho' Pokémon will always be a constant in my life.
