As the title states, this is a simple question on what a Felkin is. I've seen a number of pictures with Felkins but still can't figure out what they are and also can't find anything online. Not lookig for a huge species history and bio just want a general bio. Please and thank you.

Apparently it is a specific breed of dragon, but I can't tell where they come from. From the felkin wiki (which I just added a bit more to just now), there was an anecdote about it being from a show called "Dragon Booster", but I haven't been able to confirm that the term "felkin" has anything to do with it. Another possibility is that they came from the user rainbowjokerhound (now suspended with no art up unfortunately) ~2-3 years ago. I only suspect this because many of the results for "felkin" on FA pull up artists crediting rainbowjokerhound for coming up with the species. However, if the species was partially taken from the show...well you get the idea.

That's as far as I've got unfortunately.

Yep, Felkin are a closed species created by dog-bone.
The old wiki entry seems almost completely made, those have nothing to do with Dragon Booster.

Well, talking about felkins, there is this species post #149444 made by this artist adjot who basically changed identity, and left behind said species.
Now, I don't know the full story, and dont want to. but apparently he no longer cares, (seeing how he no longer is on furry sites)

The fun part is that I recall seeing somewhere in FA with an OC (the original artist approved it or something idk/idc)
with the closed species warning. probably to be original or something lol

Makes me a little sad to know he just stopped making them but good to see other people adopting/creating them. If anyone can send me the link the bio/history/wiki it be appreciated. Whats funny about the picture posted with the two Felkin/furred-dragons and the Sergal is that I actually believed Felkin were dragon/sergal hybrids.

Also, Deimos by adjot has been one of my favorite character designs for a long time, it's a super shame that the artist is MIA.

Not MIA, he literally tried to get away from furry fandom, Like I said, I don't know the story but he abandoned his adjot account (and basically everything related to FA lol). As far as I know he is active on Tumblr. (I have the URL if you want)
