I don't think shonen is a valid tag. isn't that just a word for adolescent boys in japanese?

It's also used in classification of anime/manga by their intended audience (see also: seinen, shoujo, etc), which is the only reason I can think of for it to be on the two posts it's on, which doesn't make sense anyway since we don't care what genre a character's source material is...

yeah, maybe if there was a comic/animation posted here that was in the style of a shonen manga/anime maybe the tag could be used then, but I'm don't think we even generally tag stuff like that.

Also, 2662563's Description mentions "shonen".
Well, Even if so, shonen is still Not a valid tag, anyway.
