Topic: Character Commission Question: Nondescript Characters and Payment

Posted under Art Talk

Hello there.

This is the first time I have set up online art commissions. (I have had some experience before offline)
And I have some questions about characters.

I have this plan that there would be additional fees if there's more than one character.
The dilemma is if I should pay extra if there are generic, nodescript, background, characters?

Thank you in advance.

This could just be something you'd discuss on a case-by-case basis. Nondescript grey humanoids taking incredibly simple poses is less effort than having a more detailed background, for instance.

Consider them part of the background, but consider that increases time and effort for the background the same way semi detailed rocks would. Charge more according to the needs of the work.
