make it a INSTANT BAN not TO ADD DATE TO A POSTS META TAGS are EVEN BETTER REMOVE ALL USER INPUT ON META-TAGGING, i shouldn't have to get screwed by THE FUCKING 40 TAGS SEARCH LIMIT BECAUSE SOME FUCKING SCUMBAG DOESN'T UNDERSTAND TAGS LIKE A SANE LIFEFORM

Not that it's always possible, anyway. Unless the art itself has a date on it, the artist would have to say when they made it, since you shouldn't assume the date posted is when it was made. It could be a repost (I've seen this happen a good number of times on Twitter, they'll post some art in a new tweet, not a retweet, that they had posted a while ago, to get more people to see it), or have been posted somewhere else before (e.g. a delayed patreon release, or an image they realized had been on one gallery but forgot to post on another), or have been sitting around finished in private and they just got around to posting it.

When no one was looking, Lex Luthor searched with forty tags. He used 40 tags. That's as many as four tens. And that's terrible.

Oh fuck you, I laughed like a fucking hyena.

Not homie's first rodeo with angery forum posts about tags, by the way, not sure what he hopes the outcome to be from this.

back in my day if you didn't have an account you had a 6 tag search limit. and us lurkers made good use of those 6 tags before either getting an account or when the limit got heighten for visitors

IIRC, it wasn't just limited for users without an account.

I... I don't even know how date meta-tags have anything to do with the 40 tag search limit, like, is this dude really searching 35 date tags? and 40 tags is like, super generous for searching considering how many damn tags there are

You needed the "Privileged " status to search for more than 6 tags back then
