I honestly don't even know anymore.
When I first came here it was to troll and to find hot murry purry cummy yiffy über-porn, then that changed as well.

Now I'm mostly going here out of habit, the peeps here are pretty nice and it can be calming to upload/tag stuff on here.

I have to admit, mainly porn in the beginning. But I also looked for safe pics.

Now I´m here for the same reasons ^^. but I try to entertain people in the comments, answer questions, creating pools or tag pictures if it´s necessary.

Try to improve my doodling. And to have fun.

I used to come here regularly for the porn (pants always on, btw), then the forums (a wild script appeared!) and finally the blips (yeh, since their creation /hipster)

Because it's by far the best place to get your daily shot of furry smut. Very well-organized, constantly updated and a good amount of quality control. And the userbase is generally nice and not full of drooling tards, hugboxers or douchebags (like the ideal middle road between FA and U18chan, or it would be if a bit more bitchiness was allowed sometimes).

Also, searching for nice stuff to contribute and seeing that be appreciated by others is kind of addictive. And since the tag system is so comprehensive, you know your uploads aren't just going to get lost in the ever-growing pile within hours (which in turn encourages good tagging from you).

Nothing's more demotivating than that idea, hence why uploading on regular imageboards like the various chans (or some joke archive like Paheal) completely sucks compared to doing it here. Even if it does take considerably more time.

I came for the art and porn. Stayed for the art, the porn, and also helping to tag and organise things. It's like a never-ending puzzle to play with one section at a time. =)

I'm 100% positive this is THE most organized porn site there is, and by that, I mean if you want a specific, really niche, picky thing; you can find it.

I originally came here exclusively for the porn. I was around long enough to start reading comments on posts (still think they're not particularly interesting) and eventually venture into the forums. Decided that the community was decent, due in large part to the administrative direction and admin team.

Now, I only collect porn when the "queue" on my hard drive gets low enough, of which I'm not burning through nearly as much as I had originally when the cycle was reversed. I consider that a positive change. Nonetheless, I still check the forums regularly, even if I don't contribute much, and sometimes I check the blips too for less srs furreh bsns happenings. I tend to stay away from the more technical, useful site-oriented discussions and functions, not because I couldn't properly contribute, but because I'm not really suited for that stuff. From what I've observed, the dedicated few generally walk the path of continuous improvement, and for that I'm grateful.

Oh, and when I post, I try to casually improve my posts' overall quality, decorum, writing quality, composition speed, expressiveness, and so forth. It's surprisingly difficult to find an outlet with just the right mix for me. Harder than it ought to be, anyhow...

I got tired of wasting my spare time on repetitive browser games and MMORPGs, and decided that I should do something more productive.

So I figured that I'd help out here. Being able to find good porn while tagging is a bonus.

I came here a long time ago because one of my friends was like "WHOA, CHECK THIS OUT." I reacted in horror, then morbid fascination. Now, I look at people's records, do the occasional tagging, inspect the forums, and look at the flag history. Sometimes I go diving into the art/porn, but that's rare.

Came for the well organized porn, stayed for the sweet community. I wish there were more interesting threads, though. I'd like to know people a bit better.

You might try the IRC chat option. I've heard it's a good way to get to know some of the people around here. Blips too on a much smaller scale.

As for me, it started with dragons, but eventually my interests were touched and I expanded my interests to other animals, crocodiles, snakes/nagas, lizards, wolves and foxes, then to sergals, gryphons, some sharks, cats and a few dogs (though I dont frequent those three, only when I come across them on the "Post" tabs first page or find them under an artists tag..)

This has also pushed me into creating an account at DA so I could look at the unposted art, and gotten me to make a dummy FA account a year later. Still dunno if I want to join FA since I still associate it with drama, but whateves...

There are a lot of IRC Clients for Android and EwOS

It tends to be a great deal easier to browse than FA. I'll typically look for artists here, then rummage around through their galleries there.

At least here I can control whether or not browsing the site will require brain bleach. On FA, a 'general' rating does not guarantee that something is safe for work or my life.

I've been using this site for... 3 years now? Gosh time flies. Anyway, I came for the porn and stayed for the porn AND art. The users here are hella friendly and it's organized. An a* site 10/10 do recommend

A Better search engine than FA provides (where minimum tagging is not required), where art that is not just limited to one site, like FA, (though majority) but also from others including but not limited to: DeviantART, Furriffic, Inkbunny Sofurry, VCL, Weasyl, Yerf and Pixiv for exclusives not seen elsewhere. Not to mention a better community by in large, and also a healthy amount of views, faves and comments, when artwork is submitted here; an ofcourse the sets pools and like.

I come to e621 because it's a booru meaning the artist doesn't have to be the poster, and unlike other boorus, it actually has a somewhat decent tagging system... Hell, e's tagging system is SUPERB. Everybody else (except maybe gelbooru, still need to look at that one) has a horribad system.

I never considered a thread silent for a month or less to be dead, 6 months to a year and greater with dead space in between now that is necromancy to me.
