generally I politely question them why. in most places around the internet, I use avatars I've made, so seeing someone with the same avatar is... hm... suspicious.

It's upsetting, usually I say "Oh, no, you copycat" to myself, then change it hoping it still resembles my previous look I've held for MONTHS.
I don't rant blindly to that person on the Internet, that's just a lame excuse for an argument.

I changed mine to what it is now because I saw someone with the same lucario pic as there avatar. :/

I just change it... Always nice to change things up every once in a while.

I call them a copycat...especially if it's an avatar of a piece of artwork created for me, which it usually is.
