The tag alias #59598 enlarged_clitoris -> phallic_clitoris has been rejected.

Reason: This was discussed on the e6 discord the other day, apparently the enlarged_clitoris tag is for clits affected by testosterone, where they become penis-like, and can be almost any size. I had no idea this was the intention of the tag as the name makes it sound like it refers only to size, not phallic appearance. Obviously the wiki pages also need to be edited to better reflect this meaning but IMO the name is super misleading anyway and should be changed. On the discord we came to the conclusion that phallic_clitoris would be more accurate and much less confusing.

If this gets approved I will edit the wiki pages :) I just don't want to screw anything up without approval.

Semi-related, hemiclitores should imply multi_clitoris and animal_pussy to match hemipenes, which implies multi_penis and animal_penis.

Not all Enlarged clitoris are phallic, not all enlarged clitoris are even megalic a tag that itself is left still unfixed.
I understand you want to help but this is just going to lead to More trouble than you think it will help.

If this is designed to be a positive for trans men as well It wont be. And referring to all large Cis women's clitorises as an enlarged penis is rude in and of itself.

This is misguided, even if your intent is good.

So what's the difference between enlarged_clitoris and huge_clitoris then? That's what I originally asked on the discord and I was told enlarged doesn't refer to size, just T-affected appearance. If enlarged really is just about size, shouldn't it be aliased to huge_clitoris as they mean the same thing and huge fits with how we name all other size tags?

Perhaps the issue here is that it’s an alias. I still believe that enlarged_clitoris is an awful and confusing tag name for what it’s being used for, and the description is vague and arbitrary, and even mentions pseudo-penis for some reason. phallic_clitoris would be more useful for describing those specifically testosterone-influenced clits while leaving out the issue of animals with naturally huge clits as the wiki mentions, which is an unrelated issue. But the real issue is that people have been using enlarged_clitoris for any apparently large or prominent clitoris, even if it doesn’t appear to be artificially enlarged like via testosterone as the wiki suggests. So simply aliasing enlarged_clitoris -> phallic_clitoris may end up with the same problem if people continue using the tag without checking what it aliases to.

So, the better solution may be to mass update enlarged_clitoris -> phallic_clitoris (but not before cleaning out the mistags) and then aliasing enlarged_clitoris to the more generic big_clitoris.

About this:
create implication phallic_clitoris (0) -> clitoris (95404) - assuming this is the tag name we can settle on for this purpose, this is fine. The only other alternate suggestion I’ve heard is t-dick, which I especially dislike as it isn’t even technically a dick, so that’s just confusing. +1

- this absolutely needs to be done regardless. They aren’t even remotely the same thing, and this doesn’t follow the hyper -> huge -> big pattern and implication chain that all other tags follow. This has been annoying me for a while now. It’s like if huge_cock was aliased to erection or something, rather than the obvious huge_penis. They’re not used for remotely the same purpose.

- this is good, though I feel almost certain that I have a pending implication for this from ages ago. Might have to double check that.

- this is completely wrong. Clitoris never implies pussy, as clitorises can appear in other organs; most notably, the cloaca, which is especially relevant in the case of hemiclitores. Also, again, I believe I already have a pending BUR containing imply hemiclitores -> animal_clitoris that I wrote ages ago, so you may not need to do anything here.
