Topic: artist Jailbird's furaffinity "pending deletion"

Posted under Art Talk

Jailbird update:
https://www.furaffinity.net/user/jailbird
is now
"System Message
The page you are trying to reach is currently pending deletion by a request from its owner."

As far as i can tell all the art in their FA account is also pending deletion.
(edit: and thus uploads made to their FA account are no longer available. Their art still available in galleries of commissioners)

(I'm assuming Art Talk is correct forum category, if there more appropriate category I can move it)

Updated

Decided to look into it as a curiousity. It is actually extremely weird. They did an art stream today, that was 4 hours long and was actual work done, ending with a chat promise to finish up on the art a bit later.

If you were looking for details as to why, my limited detective work ended up with weird dead end.

It doesn't help that they more than likely have comms still to work on after all these years. So this is technically another scammer running from that. :////

And what is the purpose of this discussion?

In my opinion, the main purpose of discussion is
1) Jailbird artworks at greater risk of disappearing (if a commisioner decides to delete from their FA, that artwork no longer at FA).
2) so those with time can check for artwork that hasn't been added to e621 (and hopefully ask permission from the commissioner)

Checked Wayback Machine https://web.archive.org/ and their latest archives (Dec 5 and Dec 1) of https://www.furaffinity.net/user/jailbird
seems provide a possible reason(s).
1) Dec1 archive: shout saying "... She still owes several thousand people refunds from up to 13 years ago ..."
2) Dec5 archive: More serious accusation(s) were made in the shouts section. Accusations could be fabricated by trolls, with furries falling for a hoax.
Doesn't seem like our business. If the already-angry furries have anything action-able they can contact law enforcement.

Side-note: Wayback of Jailbird's FA userpage indicates their inkbunny was https://inkbunny.net/JBee
BUT that inkbunny is now "ERROR: Invalid user_id or no user_id requested. That user account may have been REMOVED at their own request, or by a moderator. ...".
