Is it posiible to learn if somebody ( people generally) has downloaded our art published here? I mean only the number of downloads . I do not see any informationa about that statistic.

The word "download" is meaningless from a technical perspective. All art on this site has to be downloaded in order to be viewed. The same applies to every other element of every website. I downloaded this forum page so I could reply to it. It is not physically possible for a website to tell the difference between a picture being saved in a browser's cache directory (so it can be displayed as part of the web page) and the same picture being saved elsewhere on the user's hard drive.

OTOH if websites track the clicking of a particular button/link, that should provide a reasonable lower bound on downloads.
In E6's case that should be the 'Download' link under the image.

It's getting the upper bound that's impossible.
