Topic: nol/nol_(character) seems to have screwed up?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

So I noticed the character nol suddenly has a lot fewer posts associated with that character, and it seems nol likely got moved to the artist tag when it was originally used to tag the character, which is now replaced by nol_(character). I'm still pretty green on tagging, and i have no experience when it comes to artists, so I'm wondering if there's a way to fix/revert this without doing it manually.

I don't see evidence of that. You can see what posts used to have a given tag by looking at the post_versions page. Only two posts have had the nol tag removed recently: post #3791570 and post #3822517. You are correct that those should have the nol tag; I replaced it.

You can see the history of a tag's category from the tag versions page.
cow_of_fire is also the dude what initially removed nol from post #3791570. I think they are confused by the concept of "commissioner". I have changed the tag category back.
I think nol of FA is ONLY a commissioner, not an artist.

I agree that nol_(character) is a duplicate of nol. There are only five images with that tag. I have edited them manually.
If nol_(character) gets used a lot in the future, we may need to alias it to nol, which you can request using the Request alias link along the top of the forum.
