Topic: Tag Alias: moobs -> man_boobs

I'm more inclined to do it the other way around, but I can't exactly say why. It's possible that it might end up getting things mistagged as male breasts when someone forgets the underscore, but I'm not sure that that's enough reason to not use man_boobs.

I feel there's more reason to it than just that, but I can't put my finger on it... +1 for the other way around.

Maybe I should've suggested "manboobs" instead?

That would probably be a better option of the two.

It's worth noting that "moobs" is actually in the ODE:

moobs |muːbz|

deposits of excess fat on a man's chest that resemble a woman's breasts. boozing, overeating, and more female hormones in the environment have been blamed for blokes sprouting moobs.

ORIGIN 1990s: blend of man and boob.

Flipped it and approved. The reason is because moobs is actually the word for it. Meanwhile "man_boobs" attempts to describe it but isn't officially recognised as meaning any specific definition. So of the two, moobs is actually clearer. It sounds like slang, but it's actually more officially recognised for this definition. Also of concern that I wanted to avoid, is that "man boobs" has the chance of getting misinterpreted for tagging the breasts on dickgirls, because in some people's world views dickgirl = man + boobs so using "man_boobs" to tag their breasts is a likely mess to have someone mistake it for sooner or later. And since we sometimes have to ask "are those moobs or boobs?" for tagging a handful of images which aren't overly clear, not every image example is going to make it obvious. So I think picking the tag name that's less likely to be confused is wiser in the long term, as well as being the actual word for it.
