Topic: [APPROVED] Tag implication: buried_in_sand -> buried

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The tag implication #50017 buried_in_sand -> buried has been approved.

Proposal

Part 1

I am suggesting that all buried_in_substance tags implicate the more general tag buried. There are currently four such tags in use: buried_in_mud, buried_in_sand, buried_in_shit, and buried_in_snow. Each of the four specific tags mentioned are used for less than 100 posts each, so there is minimal chance for error or unintended consequences. This would also permit manual verification that the posts are tagged properly, if desired.

Part 2

I am also suggesting we implicate substance for buried_in_substance tags. Example: buried_in_snow would imply snow.

Alternative course of action

If these proposals are not approved, I would highly suggest aliasing the specific tags buried_in_substance to buried, and retagging affected posts with the tags buried and substance. For instance, retagging buried_in_snow (one tag) to buried snow (two tags) and then aliasing buried_in_snow to buried.

Thank you for your consideration.
