Topic: [APPROVED] Invalidate "demi_human"

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The bulk update request #4254 is active.

change category demi_human (72) -> invalid

Reason: No consistency in how this tag is used. Some posts are humanoid, some cross the line into anthros, and it has also been mistakenly used instead of demi-human_(elden_ring).

EDIT: The bulk update request #4254 (forum #358769) has been approved by @slyroon.

Since it's getting into the invalid category instead of being aliased to invalid_tag, does it mean we can use it as a disambiguation tag? Because demi_human can mean something that can be tagged.

My suggeted wiki, for a start.

demi_human is an ambiguous tag, instead of it you may use a *_humanoid tag like:

If the demi_human pictured is just an anthropomorphic animal, then simply remove the demi_human tag.

Please remember to add the not_furry tag when applicable.

On a side note, monstrous_humanoid sounds kinda weird imo

Yeah, I'd say that should be invalidated/disambiguated too, since "monstrous" can mean "very large". "Monster" on its own is also quite ambiguous, since there's no clear definition of what constitutes a monster (the wiki doesn't really help, saying "in-universe as being hideous and capable of producing physical harm or mental fear", which can include normal everyday anthros if the story they're part of considers them unnatural/hideous or fearful creatures).
