The tag alias #61664 pedophelia -> young has been approved.

Reason: an attempt to circumvent the pedophilia tag's alias to young, or an accidental misspell of pedophilia. either way, this should be axed before people try tagging it on more posts...

shockingly, pedo_bear only has one post here. they might have a different name, but they're commonly depicted as harassing young kids. otherwise, the only way to keep tags like these off e6 is to alias them as they get noticed, AFAIK there's no way to preemptively alias a tag away based off of it's initial letters.

This kind of alias, if there was an implementation for it, would instantly be rendered useless as soon as some artist, character, copyright, species, etc. gets a name matching it.

It'd be cleaner to fix the misspelling with:
pedophelia -> pedophilia

Result:
If pedophilia (correct spelling) ever gets aliased/implicated to something else, you don't have to change the aliases/implications for pedophelia (misspelling) or paedophilia (britspelling).

Chaining aliases isn't allows. If a tag is aliased away, it can't be used as an alias or implication target. Attempts to do so will either error or update the original alias to the new target.

e6 isn't set up to do alias chains AFAIK, and i made this suggestion because i'm all but certain it will remain aliased to young since it's a defamatory tag. it would have be aliased to either invalid tag, or to the slightly more productive young tag since people will tag it on young artwork nearly all the time.

There's a bit of a funky language thing where pedo- can be about children or feet depending on if the root is from Greek or Latin.
