Topic: Blacklist goof? (Please help)

Posted under e621 Tools and Applications

https://e621.net/posts/3956028?q=-female is a search I conducted to ensure my blacklist was working properly, and it showed up anyways, even though I have the following blacklist (single line):
gynomorph -gynomorph/female ~gynomorph/intersex ~gynomorph/ambiguous ~gynomorph/male

I’ve noticed in on a few other posts as well. I see it working as: gynomorph is blocked, also all the /xyz tags with gynomorph in it (to cover -solo posts) and MINUS gynomorph/female, to ensure that if it does have the gynomorph tag, it can only show up in the event they are having sex with a female that is tagged… am I doing it wrong? Is the gyno/female tage backwards? Help please.

Edit
I’ve temporarily changed the blacklist line pertaining to intersex to:
intersex ~intersex/intersex ~intersex/ambiguous ~intersex/male
intersex -intersex/female
On two separate lines, seems to have gotten rid of the issue, but the reason I like having entire sets of blackllists on one line is that if I want to see a topic I’m feeling frisky about at that moment I have to press 2 or more just to see it, which is kind of annoying.

Does the single line "gynomorph -gynomorph/female" not produce the results you want? I've never messed around with tildes in blacklists, not sure I'd trust them.

It does, however I just want to try to simplify it as much as possible, to be able to click one blacklisted tag and un-exclude an entire set of related tags. Also that’s unfortunately what I’ve ended up doing as a result. I also have other accounts (for favorite collection organization) that I want to have those blacklists reversed in simplistic single line tag clumps like that.

Also tilde’s are very easy to use in blacklists, it simply means “also” in the sense that I blacklist every post with “gynomorph” *and also* the ones with “gynomorph/male” for instance. So it doesn’t have to take up another line in the blacklist tags. Just simplifies it, and also makes it so I don’t have to have “gynomorph solo” on another line just to exlude solo/multi persons posts.
