I kinda feel like compression artifacts should be for unintentional or careless over-compression, like a badly compressed JPG, a low bitrate video, or multi-generational reencodings, rather than a deliberate artistic digital effect that only appears in part of the overall image or video.
Why is intentional_compression even a tag? I’d say alias it to compression_artifacts.
