Actually, even given how long the original has been around and how much I'm used to it by now, wouldn't it make more sense to flip it? Snake_penis proved fairly confusing at first because it fits the "ANIMAL_penis" pattern we use everywhere else, even though this one is very distinct. You have to know that these are supposed to be tagged hemipenes, and even then some would argue there's a bit of a loss of detail when trying to label the penises of actual snakes.

There's also the sister tag of cock_naga (same as snake_penis but with arms, and should not imply towards naga despite the name), which wouldn't fit the other format, yet seems out of place because of the differing name pattern. It also opens the door for something like cock_dragon, which may or may not be needed, but dragons are sometimes seen in place of snakes, here, and snake_penis seems to me like a weird fit for those.
