I don't meant to be rude or anything, but do you have any proof? Their art style looks nothing alike to me.
Vermilion888 is a user here, and afaik nobody knows where furronika went but I highly doubt he'd randomly open an account here just to post exclusively feral horse and human porn.
Edit: comment #1404731 where the artist actually stated they weren't furronika. I guess others thought it looked similar too so it's definitely not just you. :P I wonder if Vermilion had been influenced by furronika...
Oh, but -1 because they aren't the same artist.

Looks inspired by furronikas art, at least.

Denied, because they're not the same artist. Similar styles, but not the same person.
And thanks to those who also did some research on this. It really helps when people share what they dug up on these artist aliases, because just one page or clue can make all the difference in which way it should go. And with more than one set of eyes, it makes it all the more likely everything important will get brought up.

Thanks for the clarification guys, I tried doing some research but since the pics had no source I couldn't find any and that artist didn't seem to have a page on any gallery. Still looks like either a collaboration or something "heavily inspired" by her stile.
Anyway, as you pointed out, I wasn't able to provide any proof, so I was just raising the question, thanks for the clarifications :3
My only residual skepticism would be if this was some case like jay-huskeh/v-meretrix/sparklemotion/gloebis/the_vale, where the artist denies its identity for privacy reasons or to break from the past. But I guess there's really no proof of that. ^^

Yeah, no proof of that this time.

While on the subject, just as a general information statement: if an artist really wants to keep some of their work separate, we actually try to respect that. It's better to keep all of their NSFW art under their NSFW pseudonym for instance, than it is to force them to have it all taken down just to keep things separate. Or to keep their pony-centric blog identity separate from their regular identity, if it's something that's very important to them. So when an artist tells us that they really want certain works of theirs tagged separately, that's something we try to honor, and we'll avoid aliasing them together when we know better. It's the exception to the rule.
Now, most artist have several names and make no real effort to keep them separate. So for those, we alias when we can in order to keep things organised just as basic policy.
Also as a general statement: if an artist wishes their tag on e621 was one of their other usernames instead, or a different form of their username, etc. Then all they have to do is let us know about it, and we'll fix it/flip it around, etc for them. It's usually not a problem to do.

Once again, thanks for the tip, I'll keep that in mind, it seems very reasonable and correct :)
