So I tried to reupload a post because is was "unapproved in 30 days". When I clicked submit it said "Post is a duplicate of post #******" but when I go to said post it says "This post was deleted or flagged for the following reasons:

[DELETION] Unapproved in 30 days - auto moderator - over 1 year ago" and I cannot do anything about it, any ideas?

Deleted posts still exist, you just can't view them. Review topic #23578 instead of trying to submit already-deleted content.

Don't reupload deleted pictures, please.

Frequently, there are posts that are too borderline in some way to outright approve or reject despite multiple approvers looking at them. To keep things from just lying in limbo indefinitely, the auto-mod auto-rejects any pending post that's been lingering for 30 days. Further, the site has a duplicate checker system in place which helps it to usually recognize when the exact same picture is trying to be uploaded to the site. Deleted posts are not destroyed, except in rare cases where truly illegal or dangerous content is involved. They're still available in case they're needed for some reason, including being undeleted in cases like a Takedown being reversed.

It's quite okay for you to message a Janitor when one of your posts gets close to the 30 day limit and politely ask if they'd give a definite decision. Although these posts will be a tougher sell, deleted posts can be contested by politely messaging the staff who deleted it or, in the case of the auto-mod which is just a bot incapable of making its own decisions, by contacting a staffmember. If it turns out a post might have been deleted in error, then we'll gladly undelete it.

Can you please paste a link to the image here? The janitors sometimes overlook posts and then they end up deleted for being unapproved in 30 days. If the image is good enough and it isn't borderline as Clawstripe puts it I reckon they'd revert the deletion.
