The tag implication #50654 fluffy_pony -> equid has been rejected.

Reason: Ponies are horses, right?

EDIT: The tag implication fluffy_pony -> equid (forum #365602) has been rejected by @gattonero2001.

despite the name I don't think fluffies are "canonically" ponies or even related to equids directly; it's hard to say for sure because everything fluffy-related is totally community driven, so there's rarely one true backstory. I believe, the general community consensus is that Hasbio created the fluffy pony by heavily genetically modifying rodents of some variety.

I think the consensus is leaning towards fluffy ponies being ponies. Half of the posts tagged fluffy_pony are tagged equid.

I mean, reguardless we generally don't imply fictional species to real species. renamon dosn't imply canid even though 96% of posts already have the tag.
fluffies have lots of weird subspecies that look even less ponies than some depictions of normal fluffies.

Probably a good idea not to have it implied if that's the case. Jellenheimers certainly aren't equids.

In lore, fluffies were made from a variety of DNA sources, but had no human DNA (or at least, no DNA extracted from human sources) to try to dodge legal issues. This includes horses.

That certainly makes sense. I don't see why OP can't just blacklist "fluffy_pony" and not have to see anything anymore.
