Why aren't they associated with being gay, with regards to doing to another or with another male ? It's CLEARLY [feminine] men [with breasts] doing the gay sechs!

Because gay people like men having sex with each other, not woman with penises and balls for genitals.

Yeah, I like think of dickgirl as its own gender, same with cuntboy, herm, etc.

Because binary genders complicate the tagging system when it involves furries. This ensures people can find/blacklist what want.
Related: Dickgirl_on_male and dickgirl_on_dickgirl are essentially the dickgirl equivalent of the gay tag if you want to search/blacklist them. Note that it's somewhat undertagged currently since they are somewhat newer and not everything has been hit yet. If you want to blacklist more let me know and I'll try to come up with something for you.

Besides, the gay tag isn't for gay characters, it's just for male_on_male.
I still think we should be changing that, by the way.

Yeah, that would simplify things. The wiki entry for gay is starting to look like a legal document.

Except for a few random missing ones (rooster) and pseudo-exceptions (monster_girl), there shouldn't be any species-specific gender tags being used.

Monster_girl isn't an exception, it's really more of a category than a species.

That's kind of why I said pseudo-exception since on the surface it looks like a gendered species...but minus the copyright it's probably more analogous to pokémon, though I'm not even sure I'd say that.
