Topic: [REJECTED] Tag implication: how-to -> educational

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

the use of the educational tag on posts seems a bit erratic, without it having concrete tag definition I don't think I'm comfortable implying anything to it. some of it are using it as sort of a meta-ish tag for when the post itself is trying to be educational to viewers, some of them are just using it for characters in an education setting, and some are using it on pseudo-educational infographics or parodies of actual educational content.

The tag implication #51027 how-to -> educational has been rejected.

Reason: tutorials and how-to's are inherently educational. Educational content isn't always something that's trying to teach you a certain skill, but something that teaches you a certain skill is always educational content.

how-to should be a copyright tag because it is a meme. The few posts in there that can be distinguished by being real advice should have the model_sheet tag or the anatomy tag instead. An alternative tutorial tag could be unaliased then used that would be a better fit for those posts more than how-to is.
