Topic: Be weary.

Posted under Art Talk

Be weary when posting your art on E621, if you're an artist, bots will repost it on other websites (specifically explicit art) such as r34.xxx, if you're the original artist, it's for sure you can get those taken down by reporting them, but if you post art of your character but aren't the artist, be weary you'll most likely find it on that other site too.

Just posting it on public puts it on a few archival sites after a period of time. It doesn't even need to hit e621, that just accelerates the process.

it's also specifically explicit art that gets very quickly reposted by bots on rule34.xxx

does it really matter? We're all just LIVING Bots ourselves.
The only difference is we at least try to tag and source credit.

Artists have the right to try and protect their work and putting it on E621 DNP is a sure way to keep their work off here.
But as for the internet in general, artists may as well bang their head against the wall.

Nothing is sacred, your work is not sacred. It is posted, shared, taken, copied, rehashed, reused, spit out, and turned into something unlike before.
Sooner or later your art becomes THEIR art and the cycle continues.

You're telling them to be weary of rule34 / paheal / r34 xxx
but it's practically the SAME as E621.
WE are just more dignified and THEY are copying our homework.
