Topic: vore and imminent_death

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

I've seen a few users tag imminent_death on posts with vore, but nothing else indicating death. See post #4089271, post #3333908, and post #4083782.
Is this correct? I don't personally think imminent_death should be applied unless digestion is actively shown or heavily implied, but I can also see how it could be considered the default. If it is correct, then there are a huge number of posts it should be added to.

I think Cow of Fire is using an e6 browser plugin or something.
First they edit tags to +imminent_death -soft_vore.
Then they add back +soft_vore immediately afterwards.
Repeated across several images, which is a little odd. If you're just going to re-add soft_vore why remove it in the first place?

Also, going by the letter of the wiki, yeah imminent_death is just "not dead yet, most likely will be soon", so vore -after_vore -endosoma -healing_vore -full_tour and vore imminent_death should be very similar (not quite identical) searches.

I am sorry. A few months ago, I didn't realize that the e621 definition of soft_vore has changed. I am (hopefully) tagging everything correctly now…
