Topic: Speedreading methods

Hey there do you guys have any good speedreading method?
I try to read 80 pages everyday but it's pretty difficult for me due to my job and my life routine so i'm constantly using a speedreading program, is just that is a little bit awkard and stiff for me.

I've heard the trick is to learn not to subvocalize. Of course, that's easier said than done.

For me personally, vocalizing text in my head always seemed to speed up my reading. although I've always been a very slow reader, and i only learned fluent English like 7 years ago. I've never been fast with my first language either.
the best trick to speed up reading that i know of is predictive reading. since most sentences are fairly formulaic and most things you read typically make sense. so typically a sentence can be predicted based on context and basic sense.

The PhotoReading course from Learning Strategies is supposed to help train you to take in and process information faster and more efficiently than normal reading and speedreading methods. It's up to you whether you want to give it a try or if you think I'm just blowing smoke out of places unmentionable.

(Link is SFW and should be noncontroversial.)
