The tag implication #51384 ak-47 -> ak_platform has been approved.
Reason: While the accurate tagging of certain firearms on e621 is not a primary focus compared to sexual aspects, consolidating tags regarding popularly depicted firearms can be achieved. In addition to standardisation from tags like "ak_47" and "aks_74" to "ak-47" and "aks-74" (which match officially used designations), the more general "ak_platform" tag can be used to refer to firearms both real and fictional with the general aesthetics of a Kalashnikov rifle, without creating the misnomer the currently lax usage of the "ak_47" tag creates.
This is also preferable to use of the Kalashnikov copyright tag, which can make false implications regarding the supposed manufacture of these firearms.
