Topic: how do you manage your comics?

Posted under General

Greetings you beautiful creations.
I'm new to the forum but not new to the site and i know many of its features.
But my question is, how do you keep track of what page of a comic/pool you're currently at?
I installed RE621, but the subscribe option will only update once a new post is added to the pool, right?
What i do is create a private set for comics I'm reading. But updating the sets by removing the page i read from the set, then adding the new page i reached seems like such a hassle.
I thought about using my favorites, but i think the comics will be lost in the bunch when i start to add many new favorites.
Maybe searching favorites for tag comic? But that would also seem like a long way if i add many different comics over time.
I don't really want to add a bookmark to my actual web browser.

I might be missing something basic, but what do you do to "bookmark" your comics?

You can use your browser to bookmark the page you ended your reading at. That's what I would do, but I don't have the patience or attention span to keep up with any comic. I resort to reading short one-off comics that last 4 to 6 pages at most.

I don't, unless the comic itself is numbered. I usually click back to the main pool and realocate myself.

I tend to read most comics in one go, as there are very few comics that are several pages long, so there is that.

It seems you are trying to micromanage reading several comics at once, which is probably the root of your problems.

Why not?

I just bookmark them, that's the whole point of bookmarking, it is in the name.

You deny your bookmarks their purpose! They yearn to save the comics of your liking... but you hold them back!

If you aren't receptive to conventional means, how about leaving the tab open at where you last left off in the comic. Then make a new tab to continue browsing.

Is it that hard to just remember when you've seen a page before? If you don't have at least a vague recollection of the parts of the comic you've already read then following plotlines must be very confusing for you.
