Topic: [REJECTED] Tag implication: toy_chica_(fnaf) -> chica_(fnaf)

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The tag implication #51403 toy_chica_(fnaf) -> chica_(fnaf) has been rejected.

Reason: It's the same character, just with a new animatronic model.

I am aware that the "chica_(fnaf)" tag is used specifically to refer to the classic design more often than not, although that can be rectified with the use of "classic_chica_(fnaf)".

EDIT: The tag implication toy_chica_(fnaf) -> chica_(fnaf) (forum #371286) has been rejected by @slyroon.

but they're literally not the same character, though, right? I don't super follow the story but aren't they diffrent mind, diffrent body, and diffrent soul, with the name and some design elements being the only similarities?

They are the same character. The different animatronics are possessed by different human souls killed by Purple Guy, but the character as defined by Fazbear Entertainment is the same.

point blank, they're not the same character, that's just incorrect dude.

Literally, for example, saying one fazbear animatronic (Toy Chica) and another fazbear animatronic (Chica) are the same character is like saying Sonic and Scourge are the same character.
They're both "Sonic" but they're not the same, they're both individuals in their own right and are designed in their own way.
Just the same as Toy Chica & Chica may be the same Chicken under the same name so to speak. But they're both still their own individuals.

Another example, Toriel & Underfell Toriel.
