Topic: [APPROVED] Tag alias: co_inu -> shio_inu

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The tag alias #63489 co_inu -> shio_inu has been approved.

Reason: The "c" in their Twitter username appears to be read phonetically as a shorthand for "shi". co inu → しおいぬ → shio inu.
Their personal website, along with the Twitter display name, is very consistent about using しおいぬ, with only urls (where it's pretty much standard to use alphanumerics) using "c", and there's otherwise no stylization that might suggest a preference for "c".

EDIT: The tag alias co_inu -> shio_inu (forum #371976) has been approved by @slyroon.

Hmm, it also seems to mean brine dog or salty dog?

Hmm, a 'sea dog' is a pirate, haha. Makes me wonder...
Actually, it's a very experience sailor. Or a shark, if you're absolutely ancient.

Not Shio Inu here, and from my own observation I can confirm that artist is named Shio Inu while their social media handle is co_inu.

Shio is just a semi common name for people. It can mean salt (塩) or tide (潮/汐) depending on the character, and also as a less meaningful normie name.
