It has the on_model tag, but anyone can download a 3d model of Chica and call it a day. The same can be said for Sonic the hedgehog, anybody can download a generic model and animated it in Blender. 3d art is rarely stylistically unique also, it looks as bland as Security Breach itself. If it was a 2d drawing of the character then it'd be harder to argue because the artstyle is distinct, but in this case I am not sure if the tag would apply or not.

That's a good question. I suppose it would depend on how often the original in-game models are used for 3D art, rather than a look-a-like custom model. But given that it is certainly possible (and sometimes easy) to get the original models and have many people easily copy/reuse them, there could be an argument to restricting the tag's use.

in general I'd say yes.

for example, most 3D sonic stuff is definitely not on-model

there are off-model models available on smutba.se so there's probably a non-zero number of off-model fnaf posts with 3D models.

imo, should tag on-model stuff as on-model but it's probably not that important.
