We'll have to wait and see if the change is permanent or temporary, then we'll have a discussion on whether or not to keep twitter for everything from x, alias twitter to x_(platform), or keep them side by side. Second option seems unlikely though.

And if nothing else, posts involving the Twitter bird should still be tagged as Twitter.

Its name hasn't changed just the logo. The URL is still the same.

there are x.com links floating around... but honestly, since, the twitter links still work and don't redirect to a x.com page, it's safe to assume twitter.com is still mainstream. Personally I think X is a terrible choice for a brand name. It's what you'd expect from some new edgy band/store/org to use. It also keeps making me think it looks like a link to some attack site, or tiny url.

But wasent twitter reverted back to the original owner due to Elon Musk posting/doing something that was not kosher ? I wanna remember hearing something that Elon Musk got banned from twitter and what not.
