Reason: Comments disabled has nothing to do with the image itself. The tag's wiki has been locked as well, so that means the staff have decided it's worth keeping.

This should be definitely be invalidated along with disabled_comments.

Ever since topic #38089 was made even further efforts have been made to hide the information with PR #507

Incredible that the admins are trying their darnest to destroy every tag that couldve been used to hide the very shitty content on here, first disabled_comments, then call_for_violence, now this...

You're not helping.

I have no idea what you're on about. Many posts with their comments disabled are perfectly normal images where we simply don't want to bother moderating anymore, like the martha post for example. Others have commonly blacklistable tags like politics.

I don't know about the other tag you mentioned but that has nothing to do with these BURs.

Eh, I would count disabled comments and comments disabled as the same tag, so that's only 2 so far.
And I don't see the use of disabled comments tag for the blacklist, since they're both few in number and can occur on any topic where people decide to wage war in the comments.

If you really want to be able to blacklist posts with their comments disabled, you could make it a public set, like you did with call for violence.

I see you're still trying to drag along an argument that the tag is somehow useful for blacklisting.
The tag wouldn't even apply to the contents of posts, it applies to comments.
Don't want to see the comments? Great! Turn them off in your settings.

As Earlopain said, and as I've already said, most of the posts that have their comments disabled are perfectly normal and not offensive. You're better off blacklisting what it is you're actually trying to avoid, like polotics, nazi, etc. Comments being disabled isn't permanent either, so your blacklisting argument further falls apart when the comments finally get unlocked after they've settled down.

I'll reiterate yet another point:
If we wanted a way to search for posts with disabled comments, we would have one. Kira has specifically said that it was excluded from the posts export to stop needless drama. We also don't have a metatag for it. If we wanted it to be searchable, it would have a metatag. These need not be updated, they work on the actual attributes of the post. This has been further reinforced by, as faucet mentioned, the merging of e621ng/e621ng#507, which:

• Hides the number of comments for non moderators (shows 0), both in the posts list, as well as in the json api
• Removes the comment_disabled flag in api responses
• Excludes the comment_disabled and comment_enabled post events from non-moderators, as this makes it very easy to find posts with disabled comments

Even further proving that this is VERY intentionally hidden.
