Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.

Topic: Gendered form tags being reinstated?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

Sorry if there's already a thread that discusses this but I noticed that the gendered tags for most of the forms are listed again where they used to be aliased to their respected genders. If that's the case then shouldn't we retire the gender_on_form tags since they aren't needed anymore? if someone wants to find human male on female anthro they can just use human_on_anthro female_anthro and human_male. Definitely less cumbersome than having to search female_on_human male_on_anthro male/female. probably wouldn't need human_male/female_anthro tag either.

gender_on_form

is for mixed-form pairings where one is a particular gender. female_on_feral, for instance, can be a female anthro on male/female/intersex/ambiguous feral, or female human on male/female/intersex/ambiguous feral, or female taur on male/female/intersex/ambiguous feral, but not female feral on male/female/intersex/ambiguous feral. There isn't an easy way to otherwise search for things like that.
