The tag alias #63994 stylus_pen -> stylus is pending approval.

Reason: a stylus is often called stylus pen because of its shape. since e621 seems to have already decided on using "stylus" as the tag when these devices show up in art and animations, it would be best to make "stylus pen" an alias of stylus.

Mm, not sure on that, I'm 90% sure I've seen a few images with actual styli being used by fantasy/historical themed characters, so I can't say I'm fond of the two items sharing a term. I'd be more in favour of making stylus a disambiguate to ensure the two are kept apart. "computer_stylus" or "digital_stylus" seems logical for the modern ones, although for the physical ones I'm unsure what they would be called. Perhaps "cuniform_stylus" or "wax_stylus"?

I couldn't think of a better name for historic version of stylus, so I apologize if its incorrect. I was getting confused with tablet_pen and stylus being the only tags for this object \ device, I'm not sure if making a tag for the vary historic writing implement helped much but I'm glad that there is now talk about about these tags. I don't think these tag were well thought out when they were made as "stylus" is too general and "tablet pen" sounds like any artwork with a tablet that can use a pen like object \ device can go here, when in reality its for a vary specific device (its for the device this character is using) hopefully more users will chime in and help find a way to clean thing up.
