How would it be identified as a bedroom, and not just a generic inside scene, without a bed?
The implication would still be a bad idea, I guess, but it really feels like this tag is just being used wrong. A lot of the results for bedroom -bed (other than the majority which are just missing the bed tag) just shouldn't have been tagged as a bedroom in the first place.

What if it has just a mattress on the floor without a bed frame?

It probably has other elements that'd still identify it as a bed, like pillows or blankets.
Does a closet make a room a bedroom? post #4093860 The drawers are a hint, too.

No. A study, game room, and a laundry home can have closets. an office can have drawers.
