Topic: [REJECTED] Tag alias: unimask -> oni_mask

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The tag alias #64146 unimask -> oni_mask has been rejected.

Reason: From what I can tell, uni is either a misspelling or an alternative spelling for oni. the only thing called an unimask I could find is this

Personalty. I don't see a oni mask or the thing I linked to in the only artwork with this unimask tag but that's just me.

EDIT: The tag alias unimask -> oni_mask (forum #378179) has been rejected by @Waller.

This tag has had one post ever and you're trying to alias it to something that we don't even know is the intention. Nobody (else?) in the history of the site has ever made this mistagging.

check the source of the one post it's tagged on. it's the name of the character owner.

No NG account. ;(

Yeah, the first clue was a clear lack of demon mask. It wasn't a typo for unmask (like super heroes trope, or just plain undressing only the head when wearing armor, etc.), either.

I think what got me is it already has an artist credit (xama pro)

Yeah, character owners go in the character name tags and descriptions. Meh, it happens.
Example: fukiyo (pokeandpenetrate) has the character owner in parenthesis because it's a common name. Not applicable to site, but there's a Lupin 3rd character as well. An interesting twist is that normally the owner's name is invalid, but pokeandpenetrate is also an artist tag. Be careful not to post the wrong artist on characters like this! ;)
Related: Mew_(pokemon) has the franchise in the species tag because of disambiguation (there's a ton of other 'mews').
