Requested feature overview description.
I want to be able to search through pools to find comics with specific themes or plot lines and filter based on score.
Why would it be useful?
I often find myself searching for comics by using the tag "comic" + some other tags, but this is a really inefficient way to search because you get a lot of duplicate pages or comics that aren't really what you're looking for. Additionally, you can't really search for themes/plots in the comic as a whole. For example something like "falling_in_love" or "gender_transition" or whatever because those things happen over multiple posts.
What part(s) of the site page(s) are affected?
Pool pages would now have tags and scores, and the pool search bar would behave like the post search bar.

this would also be great help for trying to find a certain artist you forgot the name of.

you can search pools by description so you can already kinda search by pools by keyword. searching posts by inpool:true might also help find pools you might be looking for.

There's no standardised keywords for the description and usually there aren't any useful descriptions, so your first method doesn't really work

I second this petition, right now if I want to search a pool of specific series it is impossible since trying to search, for example, Sonic in pools will only find titles, since pools have no tags.
Another option could be to be able to search pools by the tags of the images inside, and this is close to the same way pools are hidden by blacklists right now so should be doable

That would definitely be useful. What I sometimes do is search foo cover_page inpool:true to get a list of comics by an artist or something. Hacky, but works... if the artist makes cover pages and they are tagged.

Would be a big bother to implement, however. Mainly due to deciding the finer points of how tags should relate to pools.

Well as I mentioned maybe pools themselves could not have tags, but you could find the by the tags of the images on them, just like they are hidden when they have tags you have blacklisted
