I'm going to assume you mean male-on-male centric stuff in general. There are a ton of straight women who consume (and create) gay male artwork, stories, erotica, porn, etc. Every fandom has a "slash" community [lingo for gay pairings in fanfiction and fandom circles which aren't anime], and the overwhelming majority of slash in most communities is male/male and those communities are filled to the brim with horny women wanting to write about anal sex and penises. Which may seem weird until you break it down like this: they like that gender a lot. Gay content has twice the gender that they love, twice the parts they are fond of, and all the while it has no one of their own gender [aka, other women] to get jealous of/compare themselves to/have to compete with/etc. It's perfect fantasy fodder. I'd imagine a lot of straight men's interest in lesbians has similar reasons behind it: twice the boobies and no boyfriends to create an "oh shit!" moment or ruin the mood.
