There are two tags called I'm asking if this should alias or implication of some other tag, the tags in question are patreon ad and patreon preview. I'm thinking we could just use promotional_material and preview instead of getting so specific.

There's already an advertisement tag for when the post advertises something. Patreon-specific tags don't make sense to have since there's functionally no difference for an ad/preview/promo to be for Patreon, SubscribeStar, or whatever else.
All these tags are very underused and could do with populating, not endless attempts to replicate their functionality.
