Topic: Tag implication: a-frame_sign -> sandwich_board

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The tag implication #52042 a-frame_sign -> sandwich_board is pending approval.

Reason: Currently there are two tags with some overlap:
1) a-frame_sign
and
2) sandwich_board

a-frame_sign wiki says: "A-frame sign (also known as sandwich boards) is a two-faced sign. Each face of the sign joins at the top allowing for each face to extend outwards from the top giving stability to the sign. signs of this type are usually designed to be foldable. Some a-frame signs are designed to be wearable. ...
...
wet_floor_sign - May not be exclusively a-frame signs, but easily the most common design. ..."

I would say the worn/carried versions are not A-frame, but more like an upsidedown-U (almost a n-shape).

Two steps i can think of
1) With the wiki, maybe change start to "A-frame sign (a type of sandwich board)..."
2) IMPLY a-frame_sign -> sandwich_board

Wikipedia article at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandwich_board has:
"... There are generally two types of sandwich boards.
Carried version
...
A-board
Another is called "A-board" which is kept next to the stores, ..."

click for some OPTIONAL writing (put in reply to avoid cluttering implication suggestion)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandwich_board says
"A sandwich board is a type of advertisement tool composed of two boards with a message or graphic on it and being either carried by a person, with one board in front and one behind in a triangle shape, hinged along the top, creating a "sandwich" effect; or set up next to a store advertising its goods. ...
There are generally two types of sandwich boards.
Carried version
...
A-board
Another is called "A-board" which is kept next to the stores, ..."

So a-frame_sign has wet_floor_signs (not advertising a biz) as one type of a-frame_sign, but that would mean (by wikipedia definition) that not all a-frame_signs are sandwich_boards

However, one post tagged with sandwich_board don't advert a biz either (post #136565 )

I'm comfortable with e621 definition of sandwich_boards not being restricted to just advertising.
