Topic: Does Ganondorf solo images count as irrelevant (human only)?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

Lore information is not considered, purely twys. For the most part, he has no non-human traits, and gets treated as a human. Skin color is generally not a consideration.

I can't see the exact images that got deleted, but they might actually have group value with their parents that could justify undeletion. For example, this is a sequence and deleting the "human only" parts is deleting part of the sequence.

Some of his forms have pointy ears like Hylians.

It's not about who the character is, but what they look like. It doesn't matter whether it's solo Ganondorf, or Link, or Zelda, or Revali, or Kass, or Sidon, or whoever else; it depends on whether they look human in a given image. Sometimes Ganondorf is portrayed as human, just with greenish or some other color skin, which can be deleted if there's no other relevant character visible. Sometimes he's portrayed with slightly pointy ears, which lets him stay.

My first two deletions ever were for the same character and reason, so this policy has been in place for at least four years.

Yeah, once you add the pointy ears it's acceptable.

How about this one?

It has no humanoid pointy ears and still has been acepted as non human

it's tangentially relevant, since it's a part of a greater whole of images, all combined into one post. e6 allows things like (but not limited to) the separate parts of a TF sequence, so long as it's made apparent that they're related (often by parent/child posting or pools), or if they're part of some comic or series of images that end up being relevant...

mind you, this doesn't mean a 100 page comic with 99 posts being human only, will be allowed just because of the 1 post that has a bunny rabbit barely within the pic; extreme human focus posts can be deleted due to the overwhelming amount of irrelevance. gaming the system will likely result in the posts getting deleted regardless of relevance, as would incredibly minor edits to a previously-deleted post to try and make it relevant.

ehhh... that usually applies more to a series or sequences, in order to not have the flow of a comic broken or to give context to another image. I'm not sure if the example post should be an exeption, it's not giving needed context to a relevant post, or anything, it's just a human hangin out on his own.

personally I'd lean more to it being approved in error rather than it actually passing as a relevant human_only post.

*editing it to better phrase*
what's really a matter of dispute is whether this could be considered a series of images, and whether collections are sufficient. it's constantly repeated that series and pools are allowed, but pools include "collections" which don't have as much from-to relevance for their posts. if this flew under the radar, it might be because it was seen as a series when a more proper decision needs to be made. otherwise, it seems to me like this would be OK since it's part of an otherwise greatly relevant group of posts.

Updated

he's allowed because he's technically a nonhuman and this site allows humans with slightly modified features, like elves or anime characters with cat ears he's hot and i want to see porn of him

You just read my mind in both senses...

What about the often green skin? And a prominent nose is something that some versions of gerudo have

skin color doesn't matter for relevance if it did we'd have to allow The Simpsons characters and any other of the mountains of technicolor humans from other cartoons.
