Topic: [APPROVED] Tag alias: chilling -> relaxing

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

Anybody want to comment on the neutral/down votes? Every single post under chilling seems to be referring to relaxing (with one exception, which I fixed), so this looks perfectly valid to me.

In any case, this is easily undone if it turns out to be a bad alias, but I really doubt it.

Beats me. Perhaps there was some concern that chilling could also refer to being cooled off, such as if someone was put in a freezer or other cold environment?

I guess in that case, we could remove the alias when we get to that bridge. Chilling_down is not the same as chilling_out, so we could have a cooling_down tag, instead for that meaning. Or you know, just cooling.

I don't remember voting on this but it was 7 months ago so i'm not surprised. I assume my vote was because it could be a synonym for horrifying/cooling

Use a search engine to find out what else it could mean; go bing chilling

You'd think there'd be some reference to cold in at least some of the posts, but as said, I went through the roughly 300 posts under the tag and found only one that had anything to do with cold. The rest were pretty unanimously just relaxing. So, probably just best to leave the alias as-is if that's how people were using it.
