Reason: King Koopa is a character in the Mario franchise.

It should probably be aliased to bowser. King Koopa is the original name of the character, while the wiki says the tag should be only for "the classic design of Bowser from the 1989 Super Mario Bros. Super Show! animated TV series", but there's certainly a number of uses that doesn't fit that design. This makes the tag quite ambiguous.

With a quick skim of all the posts, only 2 out of 112 posts were inconsistent with the wiki description, and those were two variants of the same image. I don't think aliasing two effectively different characters together helps anybody. How would people find posts portraying this King Koopa if they're aliased together?

If there's really any ambiguity concerns, the tag could be moved to something like king_koopa_(1989) or king_koopa_(the_super_mario_bros._super_show!), but I'm not really convinced that's necessary.

Changing it to something like king_koopa_(1989) or king_koopa_(the_super_mario_bros._super_show!) would be my preference. As the bowser wiki states:

Bowser, also known as King Koopa in Japan

And I'm pretty sure in English he's been occasionally referred to as "The Koopa King" or "King of the Koopas". There seems to be plenty of mistagging happening with the tag as it is, so adding a suffix to make it less ambiguous would be good, IMO.
