Girlfriend found this image and tasked me to find the artist, we're currently looking for commisions and trying to find artists we like for various stuff.

I've also done the reverse google search based on image and found that image being reblogged from that website, but it doesn't appear to be the artist? I could be wrong

could be mistaken but that does seem to be the artist given that a quick look through the archive of that tumblr also has pics from said deviantart account (and the DA link to the upper right corner of the pic/post in question here).
:/ finding artists to random pics can be so annoying sometimes, especially when a search of said pic returns hardly any results.

They also seem to also go by bartolomeus90; might help with your search a little.
Also it looks like the deviantart account that treos mentioned is still active, though I can't find the pic in it. You may want to try asking them if it's their art.
