Definitely the same tag as it's currently used, but is it worth distinguishing the two?

flame_tail was already aliased to flaming_tail which I would find kind of confusing if tail_flame is kept but I can see your point
problem is also that tail_flame doesn't have a wiki page in that case

Maybe we call them flame_tail vs flaming_tail_tip? if we want to distinguish

We can do flaming_tail_tip as an implication of flaming_tail.
Any variation of flame_tail/tail_flame/fire_tail/tail_fire can be aliased to flaming_tail.
